Pony Party

Well it's been a long weekend for us in NSW and we couldn't be more luckier with the lovely weather.
This is just a quick post as it's coming to the end of my day and for some it's just started.
Not too long ago I purchased this stamp set, as I knew it would be a hit for my girls and their friends.
I also used the new Big Shot from the new Autumn/Winter Mini for the circles and embossing dots.

The colour used in this card is the new Melon Mambo.I made this very simple, as this colour is very vibrant on it's own.

Die Cut Boxes

Sorry it's been awhile, but time flies when your having fun and now that the kids have gone back to school
I have alittle more free time.
Not to long ago my upline Marelle puts on a monthly team meeting and this time round we had a play with the new products that Stampin' Up! has launched for the new Autumn/ Winter Mini Catalogue. So I had a play with the Stampin'Up!Fancy Favour Bigz XL Dies box. I really love with way they turned out and it is great for all sorts of occassions.
So take a look.

The colours used are So Saffron,Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Whisper White.
The other items used from the new catalogue are Vintage Vogue Stamp Set, Extra-Large two step Bird punch and the Stampin'Up! Little Leaves Sizzlits Dies.

The colour combo for this one is the fabulous Rich Razzleberry,Old Olive and Whisper White.
I used some of the new Designer paper called Cottage Wall. From the new Vintage Vogue Stamp set I stamped the flower about 3 times then cut them out and layered it for a 3D look.I used my crop-a-dile to punch holes at the sides to knot the Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon through for the handle.
Now the boxes were put to good use for a Workshop I had done, which I will post to you all later.

A couple of Thank yous'

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I am sharing with you a couple of Thank You cards I made for Hostesses for having a Workshop with me.
These cards are made with some items from the latest Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue.

This first card I had used the new Designer Paper called Cottage Wall with co ordinating Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Cardstock. The stamp set is Vintage Vogue and I'm really loving this.

The next card made was using the Melon Mambo cardstock and the stamp set used is Medallion in Whisper White.I'm still getting used to this one.

Sneak Peak of what's coming up

Hello everyone.
Well times running out for the current Summer Mini Catalogue and also the same applies for Sale-A-Bration which both will end on the 31th Mar,2010. So for anything you need before then let me know.
So that means we will of course launch our new Autumn/ Winter Catalogue on the 1st April, 2010 with again some exciting items they are releasing.
To give a sneak preview, here is a card I have made for a young lady for her birthday and this is going to be a fun set to have.
I used a couple of the new colours which are going to be Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo,so I combined the two together.The new stamp set is Pony Party and you can add different items to the pony as you wish.

I folded the ribbon down the side and added the butterfly from another new stamp set.

March Workshop

Hi everybody, I have managed to set aside some time to post a quickie for you.
Earlier this month a regular client of mine had a workshop and we made two cards which could be a femine and masculine choice.
We had a great time and all enjoyed a lovely afternoon.Thank you Kate.
Here are the samples we made.

We used the Happy Moments stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue which you can earn yourself if you order through me and spend over $100, it's as easy as that.

The Baja Breeze card has a pop out effect, by stamping the image twice and then punch out a circle on the second stamp, which I then stuck on a dimensional to make it look 3D.Very simple and very effective.

Summer Mini Birthday Card

A busy day for me today and so I thought I'd squeeze in this card quickly.
Hubby had to have an operation today and it's just day surgery, but I'm on stand by as to when to come and
get him.
Now this card that I made is for a dear friend of mine back in England and am pleased to say that they will be paying us a visit later on this month, which is very exciting.
I used the Butterfly Prints stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalogue which is still running until the 31st of March. Then I used my favorite Designer Papers Bella Rose.I added Choco Chip and Riding Hood Red to
tie it all together.

Now I did use my own little pearls. Here are the items I used for this card.

Happy Moments

Well it's not such a nice day in Sydney today, so what to do? Go and see a movie of course. A neighbour and I decided to see The Blind Side. What a great movie. Then we spoilt ourselves by having a Belgian Hot Chocolate.Yummy.
Right here is another birthday card to show with the colour palet being Baja Breeze, So Saffron,Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.
As this is Sale A Bration time until the 31st March, I used the Happy Moments Stamp Set.I think the Bird Cage is my favorite in this set and that's properly why it's the most used with my cards.

Thank you with Butterflies

I love to make a card and to send them knowing I made it.
From the Summer Mini I used the Butterfly Prints set and punch which is really handy to save time on cutting.
This is going to a lovely couple who allowed for my family to stay in their home whilst on the Sunshine Coast
last week and made us feel right at home.
So here is what I came up with.

The colour combo with the Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze and So Saffron gave it that soft look.
I brought out a favorite stamp set Baroque Motif as this is a very versatile stamp set. With this set I used Versa mark just to give a faint impression.

Birthday Cupcakes

Good afternoon, to you all. Today my twin girls were invited to go to a Skating Party and one had been before and the other had not. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves despite the cold and a fall. Not too bad really. So of course, I had to make a card for the occassion and stumbled upon Crazy For Cupcakes, as
I feel it's very girlie.

The colours used on this card was Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood, Choco Chip, Regal Rose and Whisper White.
I used watercolour to colour in the cupcake and did frosting on the sprinkles. It's good enough to eat.

Birthday Time Again

Well it seems to be a time for a few birthdays ans so I got started last night and continued onto today
to get them finished and onto my blog.
I have also been away to Queensland for a mini break which was really lovely and very hot!!!!
Anyway, about the card.
I got my inspiration from  a lady who has Keepstampin and I thought the colour combo was nice and mature looking and of course I have twicked it to put my touches to it.

This card is for my Nanna who will be 86 yrs old next month.
I actually used Versamark with the birdcage on the black, but it didn't come out in the photo. I also did some frosting on the birdcage to give a bit of bling.

The supplies used are Happy Moments (from SAB) and Baroque Motifs Stamp Sets .Black, Kiwi Kiss & Whisper White cardstock.Versa Mark,Staz On and Kiwi Kiss Inks.Mixed Glitter and White embossing  powder onto 2 way glue to make frosting.
