Mothers Day Bliss

I wanted to quickly show you this card before Sale A Bration ends tomorrow, as already we have
come to the end of the month.
I have made this lovely card(self praise) from the Bliss Stamp set in the Sale A Bration catalogue and my inspiration came from Deb Fearn's which I saw on Stampin Connection.

I wanted something for a card class, but thought it might be too involved for a class.
I think I will give this to my lovely mum.
I used Vallum over the title and little brads to hold it in place rather than adhesive.
The colours are Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz (In colours) and So Saffron, all on a Whisper White background. Some of the flowers have been covered in Crystal Effects.
Enjoy looking.

Their's a baby on the way!!!

Good weekend to you.
Their will be a new addition to our family soon and that will be my sister who is due in a couple of months.
She know she will be having a boy and I bought an outfit for later after he is born.
My insipiration of colours came from his gift.

I used the Something Sweet,Short & Sweet stamps and the Extra large scalloped circle to create the baby's rattle.
The colours are Basic Grey, Real Red and Whisper White.
The little safety pin comes from the Short and Sweet stamp set.
Away from this subject for a minute.
My sister lives in Austin, Texas and as I say she is soon to have her bundle of joy. In the meantime she has just joined this lovely company Stampin' Up! and I'm so delighted and excited for her. She is very talented and I can't wait to share what she can do. Congratulations Claudia, you will do well.

For The Birthday Girl

Hi to you all out there.
I would like to show you a card I made for a little girl who's party my son was invited to on the weekend.
It is very girlie and never tried the colour combo of Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo before.

Not an original on my part and unfortunately I'm unable to recall where I first saw the idea.
It reminded me that I too haven't used this stamp set Pony Party for a long time, so it was high time I did.

The pony was stamped with Staz On and coloured with a Pretty In Pink marker. After that I used Dazzling Diamonds to bring a bit of sparkle which I think every little loves.
With the Scalloped Circle I saw that if you use the Crop a Dile you can punch out holes to give it this affect.
Well that's it from me and hope you enjoy viewing my post.

Embossed Birthday Card

I hope your week was grand last week and ready for a new one as from today.

I would like to show you a card I made for a special person in my life and that is my Nanna.
Last week she turned 87yrs old and still doing as well as to be expected. She always says to me I'm not getting any younger you know.
So for her I made this.
I love white embossed cardstock, as to me it seems to stand out alot more,so for the background it is Elegant Lines Embossed Die.
For the flowers the stamp set is Vintage Vogue with the use of Daffodil Delight and Real Red. For the leaves I used Old Olive.
To give it a bit of bling I've stuck on rhinestones.
Oval all stamp set for the title of the card and to finish it off a nice piece of Old Olive satin ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed stopping by.

A Special Birthday Present

It was someones very special who had her birthday last Sunday and a lot of you may already know her. She is my upline Marelle Taylor.
I wanted to make Marelle something special for her Birthday other than a card and whilst on Stampin Connection I saw that Amanda Brown had made these Tote Bags in various colours and thought that would be great for Marelle, so this is how it turned out.

As you can see I made a mini chocolate box which I saw on Chic' n Scratch and they fit 4 small Twirls nicely. I of course made a Birthday card to match. The DSP used is from Love Letter mixed with Very Vanilla and Basic Black. I threw on some antique brads to give the illusion it looked real but in miniture form.
Once I finished making this my twin daughters were begging for their own. I'm sure I'll have to give in at some stage.
Well I know marelle liked it as I hand delivered it and couldn't bear for it to get damaged in the post.
Hope you all like to see it too.
