Mother's Day Stamp Club

Hello to you all. It has been a while since my last posting. It's been so busy with my twins girls turning 8 and friends children also having birthday's. So May is a
busy month and of course we also had Mother's day as well.
I had a few of us round again as they saw this box set I made from the inspiration of my upline Marelle and she had this as a promotion for workshops.
I decided it would make a great present for Mother's Day and so did the girls.
I has been kept quite simple with using White as the colour theme and the stamp set used is a favorite of mine Happy Moments.

To make the cards that extra special I frosted parts of the stamped images and to do that I used a
glue pen and combined clear embossing powder with dazzling diamonds, so that it will become
more 3D.
I'm sorry the second photo isn't the best quality, but hopefully you get the idea.
All the stamped images are from Soft Subtles Stampin Spots and this is what the girls stuck with.

I hope you enjoyed looking and please keep coming back for more.

My Mothers Day Card

Hello there,

I hope all you Mothers out there had a wonderful weekend being spoilt rotten, by your children.
I had a lovely day because it was also shared with my twin daughters who had a pre- birthday celebration, so we went to Luna Park. It was the first time for the family and we all had a ball.
My mother lives in Queensland where we moved from 2 years ago and so I couldn't be there to share the day, but of course I made here this card with love from me.

I used the A Rose Is A Rose stamp set from the Ideas Catalogue 2009/2010 and the colour combo is Pretty In Pink, Rose Regal, Certainly Celery and Kiwi Kiss. For the background I used the Medallion which is new from our Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue and placed Versa Mark over it.
The feedback is Mum loved it,as well as her other goodies from Stampin' Up!
Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp Club Night

Last Friday night I had a few ladies over for Stamp Club and wanted them to have chance to play with the new Big Shot. With this first card we used the very favorite Vintage Vogue stamp set and stamp a few of the 2 size flowers and did alot of cutting.

Here is the first card sample.
The flowers were cut and had a brad put through them and them a dimensional behind that to give you the
3D look.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets:Vintage Vogue and Whimsical Words
Cardstock:Basic Grey, Old Olive & Whisper White
Ink:Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink, Old Olive & Basic Grey
Other:Scalloped Oval Punch,Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Old Olive Brads

    Now for the 2nd example.

I got my inspiration for this card from lovely Monica, as the colours she used were something that caught my eye.So this is my version and used the embossing folder and circle die cut for this.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets:Vintage Vogue and Pocket Silouette
Cardstock:Tempting Turquoise, Kiwi Kiss,Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White
Ink:Tempting Turquoise, Kiwi Kiss,Rich Razzleberry
Other Items:Big shot,Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon & Dimensionals

We had a great time making these and as Mothers Day is fast approaching it was great to give these to our Mums.I got the girls also to make a little token bag which they can also use as part of giving on Mothers Day.The template comes from the Demonstrators Website.

I think they are so cute. Lovely things come in small packages don't they?

Thanks so much for looking.
