Say Goodbye

Hello readers.
Today I wanted to post a card that sadly the stamp used will be retiring at the end of this month.
That's right it is All A Flutter. I love this stamp as it turns out different each time use use it. I will show another card I made which is totally different way of using this stamp. So look out for that.
This main colours today is So Saffron and Peach Parfait. These are the watercolours I used on the butterfly as well as DSP.

I used watered down Champayne Mist Shimmer paint to give that subtle glimmer on the butterfly.
Sorry but the tiny brads are mine and thought they matched the card perfectly.
Hope you enjoyed looking today.
Until next time enjoy.

Tri Fold Birthday Card

Welcome to my blog today.
I wanted to show you a male birthday card for a change. I don't do them very often and need some practise.
So I took a shot at a Tri Fold card because to me that is nice and easy.

Inside view

I used a valcro dot to keep it closed.
The colours I used were Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Peach Parfait. The stamp is Happy Moments from last years Sale-a-bration and then just coloured them in with markers.
I hope you like it.
Supplies:
Stamps:Happy Moments and Whimsical Words
C/stock: Crumb Card, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
DSP: In Colour Hostess Set Level 1(Peach Parfait)
Ink: Peach Parfait & Basic Black
Other: Basic Black & Peach Parfait markers

Thanks for stopping by.

Up Coming Workshop for Calendars

Hello there folks,

Hope you are enjoying the Spring School Holidays for those out there with kids at home.
Time I must say goes really fast and that is a great intro for the project that I will be showing you.
My dear friend who has finally agreed on being a Hostess for a change. She always came to card nights
and now it's her turn to earn some free gifts.
My team managed to get a hold of these mini calendars to buy in bulk and as a Christmas gift for teachers, friends or family it's easy to do.
I used watercolour paper for the watercolouring and used mainly the new In Colours.

Second Version

As you can see I made an Easel Card for easy posting and to pop onto a desk and it doesn't take up much room.
I followed a tutorial from Dawn Olchefske which she made a really cute Easel Calendar card. Check it out.
I love the way these turned out and hope my ladies will to.

Take care and thanks for looking.

Mother's Day Stamp Club

Hello to you all. It has been a while since my last posting. It's been so busy with my twins girls turning 8 and friends children also having birthday's. So May is a
busy month and of course we also had Mother's day as well.
I had a few of us round again as they saw this box set I made from the inspiration of my upline Marelle and she had this as a promotion for workshops.
I decided it would make a great present for Mother's Day and so did the girls.
I has been kept quite simple with using White as the colour theme and the stamp set used is a favorite of mine Happy Moments.

To make the cards that extra special I frosted parts of the stamped images and to do that I used a
glue pen and combined clear embossing powder with dazzling diamonds, so that it will become
more 3D.
I'm sorry the second photo isn't the best quality, but hopefully you get the idea.
All the stamped images are from Soft Subtles Stampin Spots and this is what the girls stuck with.

I hope you enjoyed looking and please keep coming back for more.

March Workshop

Hi everybody, I have managed to set aside some time to post a quickie for you.
Earlier this month a regular client of mine had a workshop and we made two cards which could be a femine and masculine choice.
We had a great time and all enjoyed a lovely afternoon.Thank you Kate.
Here are the samples we made.

and here is the other.

We used the Happy Moments stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue which you can earn yourself if you order through me and spend over $100, it's as easy as that.
The Baja Breeze card has a pop out effect, by stamping the image twice and then punch out a circle on the second stamp, which I then stuck on a dimensional to make it look 3D.Very simple and very effective.

Supplies:(First Card)
Stamp Set:Happy Moments SAB
Cardstock:Kraft, Whisper White, Baja Breeze
DSP:Walk In The Park
Ink:Basic Grey and Baja Breeze
Other:Baja Breeze Grosgrain Ribbon, dauber, 1/2"punch, 3/4"punch &1 3/4"punch.

Supples:(Second card)
Stamp Set: Happy Moments SAB
Cardstock:Kraft, Whisper White, So Saffron
DSP: Walk  In The Park
Ink:Kiwi Kiss
Other:So Saffron Ribbon, Dauber, 3/4"punch, 1 3/4 punch.

Thanks for stopping by.

Well it's not such a nice day in Sydney today, so what to do? Go and see a movie of course. A neighbour and I decided to see The Blind Side. What a great movie. Then we spoilt ourselves by having a Belgian Hot Chocolate.Yummy.
Right here is another birthday card to show with the colour palet being Baja Breeze, So Saffron,Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.
As this is Sale A Bration time until the 31st March, I used the Happy Moments Stamp Set.I think the Bird Cage is my favorite in this set and that's properly why it's the most used with my cards.

Supplies
Stamp Set: Happy Moments
Cardstock:Baja Breeze, Whisper White.
DSP: Walk in the Park
Ink:Baja Breeze & Chocolate Chip
Other: Chocolate Chip Taffata Ribbon, Square Punch(non SU), Dubber, dimensionals

Birthday Time Again

Well it seems to be a time for a few birthdays ans so I got started last night and continued onto today
to get them finished and onto my blog.
I have also been away to Queensland for a mini break which was really lovely and very hot!!!!
Anyway, about the card.
I got my inspiration from  a lady who has Keepstampin and I thought the colour combo was nice and mature looking and of course I have twicked it to put my touches to it.

This card is for my Nanna who will be 86 yrs old next month.
I actually used Versamark with the birdcage on the black, but it didn't come out in the photo. I also did some frosting on the birdcage to give a bit of bling.

The supplies used are Happy Moments (from SAB) and Baroque Motifs Stamp Sets .Black, Kiwi Kiss & Whisper White cardstock.Versa Mark,Staz On and Kiwi Kiss Inks.Mixed Glitter and White embossing  powder onto 2 way glue to make frosting.

Thanks for looking.
