For The Happy Couple

Hello to you.
Recently, I made this card for friends who are visiting from Sweden.
Whilst in Australia they annouced they are getting Engaged so natually I made them a card.
I had fun making these cute owls and my inspiration came from our up and coming mini catalogue which is still under wraps for a little while.(The inspiration is for the background only)

The colours used were Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. The 2 Step Owl punch made up the bow in the Mrs Owls hair. The soon to be Mr and Mrs loved their card and it was nice to actually see them open it.
Sorry it'd only short and sweet today.
Be sure to stop by soon as a very special project will be placed on my blog soon.
Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks Big Time

Well what I have to show you today is a card that our team member Kerry Bunting came up with the idea for.
It is a Sketch Challenge and this is what it looks like.

So I had a go myself and this is what I came up with.

To kill two birds with one stone I needed to make Thank you cards for those who were so kind to send
lovely gifts for Christmas. It was also a good excuse to use the new Aviary Stamp Set. So cute.
Enjoy looking.

Mum's Birthday

Hi all.
Yesterday it was my mother's 60th birthday and as she lives in Queenslands I unfortunately
could not be there to help celebrate.Nevertheless, she really enjoyed her day and here
is the card I sent her.

I just love the colours of the new Sweet & Sour Speciality paper. They are Very Vanilla, Rose Red & Pumpkin Pie.
The idea came from the cover of The Idea and Catalogue with using the Die Cut Top Note.
The flower is cut from the circle scallop punch and folded like a fan. I punch 2 scallops to
make this one and placed an antique brad in the middle.
I should think she will like it.

Cardstock:Very Vanilla
DSP:Sweet and Sour Speciality Paper
