Up, Up and Away!!!!

Hello readers and welcome to another day of sharing.
You may notice that I do a lot of childrens birthday cards and no wonder because I do have 3
children currently under the age of 10yrs old. Parties and birthday's are always requiring cards to be made
and I am fortunate to be a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! to get to do them on a regular basis.
I made this card for a boy and I got my inspiration from a Shoe Box Swap from Stamp Camp last year.
It is so much fun to see what someone can come up with when handed the stamp set and come up with a creative way of using it.
I loved the idea with the window and phrase showing on the front and inside of the card.
The stamp set used is Up, Up and Away and the papers are called "Big Top Birthday".
Well I hope you like it and inspired you in some way.
Until next time.
Michelle

Birthday Workshop Cards

Hello fellow readers.
I have to share today a couple of cards that my dear friends and I made for a Workshop on the weekend.
Based on kids birthday cards, I thought it would be nice to do similar cards for a Boy & a Girl.
I love bright colors and I always think that is what kids are drawn to.

Using the Up, Up and Away Stamp set was the theme for the day and I got my inspiration from the Ideas Book and Catalogue pg. 34.
I thought it would make a change to use markers rather than ink pads to give the opportunity to make the cards more personal.
It was a fun time had by all and a BIG Thank you to my Hostess Leisa for allowing us to be creative at her place.
Well until next time, happy making :)

Hurry Time Is Running Out

Hello to you all out there on this fine sunny day(At last).
Sydney had some shocking weather last week and finally we get the pleasure of some raize.
Do you know what else is shocking? The time has past so fast and the current promotion is coming to a close.
That's right, now until the 31st of July is your last chance to get FREE ribbon and buttons if you spend $100 or more on an order from me. Just email me at mmarchant71@yahoo.com.au with your order and I'll make sure you will get your freebies.
I have a card for you today.
This weekend my son is invited to a party and he instructed me that I must make his friend (who is turning 6)
a card with the Motorcycle stamp.
So he chose the colours which are Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Staz On Black.
He wanted it to look like your looking out of a window looking at your new motorbike.
In that case I framed the motorbike to make it a window and a curtain pelmet  on top.
You cannot see the I watercoloured shimmer paint over certain areas of the bike, but it's there.
He has given the thumps up and I do hope the birthday boy will like it too.
Well until next time, have a great day.

Penguin Birthday

Hello to you out there.
The last couple of days have been very wet in Sydney and colds and flu have been non stop in our house.
I have managed to get some craft done and following on from my last post my son went
to a party of a firend from his pre-school. They unfortuately they don't go to school together, but it was a
nice catch up for them both.
He took this card for his friend.

Using the 2 Step Owl Punch was how this little guy was made and my inspiration came from Teneale Williams as she made this some time ago. My children kept asking me why has he got a hose in his mouth?
It's not a hose it is a party blower just to clear that up if you all thought the same.
So I hope it was liked by the birthday boy.
Well thanks for stopping by. I will be posting up coming classes, so stay tuned.

All of a flutter

Happy Monday!!!
It was a long weekend here and it is just coming to an end.
It has been poor weather for adventuring out big great for staying indoors and catching up on those things
you have longed to do, but never get round to it. (Are you all saying YES)?
Well I had a go at trying to reorganise my craft room.I did manage to make some difference and it's still
work in progress, but more about that another time.
So this time I made a simple card for the birthday girl and I think butterflies are always a winner with girls.
The colours are Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White.
Framed Tulips (in the new Autumn/Winter Mini) is the embossed frame around the card place onto Whisper White card stock. The gems I used are non SU.
The stamps are from Butterfly Prints and On a Pedestal.
Thanks for stopping and taking a look.
Until the next time ....

Party Time

Happy Monday to you.
Yesterday my son went to a neighbours 5th Birthday Party, so like always I made a card.
It was the first opportunity to use the new stamp set Party This Way. I used colours from the Brights Collection, as kids love bright colours.

The party was great fun. I had a laugh when the Pinata couldn't break open, so a hammer was taken to it (a Dad did this). In the end the sweets went flying everywhere and we all were hit with them.
A kids party isn't a party without some casualities.LOL
A fun time had by all.

Card Stock:Delightful Daffodil, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise,Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White
