Birthday wishes

Hi all, well what a strange day today waking up to a red sand storm. Not anything I've
experienced before. Cars are all covered and pathways. I'm glad no windows were left open.
Well moving on from that, I thought would post a Birthday card I sent to my sister in law. I think I used the nappy fold from splitcoaststampers.com to make this card and it was very easy. I used the Simply Scrappin' Kit "Sweet Nothings" for the papers too.

Textured Cardstock: Pink Pirouette,Riding Hood Red,Chocolate Chip
DSP: Sweet Nothings
Scallop Punch
Riding Hood Red ribbon, Pewter hardware and Creamy Caramel marker pen.

I think that gives you the idea of what was used for me to make this card and it was a hit.

Blogging on the backburner.

Sorry bloggers for being absent for quite awhile, but visitors are among us and life has been very busy entertaining them whilst they are here.
Not much in the way of cards being done, so hopefully after they have been and gone I can get back into the swing of things.
I will be off air after my op in the middle of October, and will try to catch up when I can.

Here is my version of the challenge.

I did go bold and bright this time. Not usually me, but I thought I would go outside the square.

The patterened paper is from Glitz, Tombow Pink and Yellow pens. Cameo Pink ink from SU, so is the stamp FOR YOU. I coordinated the flowers, ribbons and brads with the same pink and yellow theme.
